This week, you're going to write me some surreal stories. I'm looking for an exploration of the contradictions between conscious and subconscious, stories that deliberately defy the rational. I'm not going to give you some restrictive textbook definition - Dadaism, magical realism, postmodernism, post-postmodernism, it's all kosher. Just don't be boring.

When you sign up, I'm going to assign you a plain, totally unremarkable situation. Your job is to turn that situation into something surreal. Take it anywhere your imagination desires.
