Audio Recap: Week 170

Look at that lazy lizard. He's all tuckered out from DESTROYING CITIES AND EATING CHILDREN. This week you are writing about Kaiju.

Your task this week is to write about a monster destroying a city. Or fighting in one and fucking it up. "Oh boy, I'm totally going to write about the Golden Gate bridge getting destroyed!" Not so fast, sucka. I will assign you a city. Or small town. Or anything in between. Too many stupid stories/movies are about the same cities getting destroyed over and over. You're going to get a bit more creative.
Here's a good checklist for writing your story:
1. Does this story have an giant monster wrecking shit? (no fanfic)
2. Does this story have any characters I care about?
3. Does this story skip all the boring world building bullshit?
4. Does the town actually play a prominent role, and taking this story and plopping it in any other city would lessen it?
The winner will answer "yes" to all of those questions. If you write a story and answer "no" to any of those, then you are a dumbhead.
