Everything in the news right now makes me pretty miserable. Your task for this week is to write something that cheers me up.
I’m not fussed on exactly what. It could be:
A comic story
A life-affirming story
A story full of whimsy
A story with clever word play
You have 1500 words. If you ask for a flash, I’ll provide a comedy cliche from https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ComedyTropes which you’ll have to work into your story. You also get an extra 200 words.
Usual rules. No AI, no erotica, no poetry, etc
